One of the most dangerous jobs in the world is working the flight deck on a Navy carrier. In the opening scene of the movie Top Gun, with Tom Cruise, those men with white vests who walked under and around a fighter jet prior to launch verifying the plane was ready to fly, was my position!

Trouble-shooting would serve me well in my future career as a police officer, a corrections officer, and later dispatching for law enforcement.  Later in life, I became as a licensed Lead Service Tech for residential and commercial systems in Heating/Ventilation/Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R).
